Sweet Sixteen

Happy 16th Birthday to my daughter Emily. (14.o9.1990)

Wow! sixteen years ago since this beautiful girl was delivered by Cesarian section.

It has taken me this long to get her to leave through the front door instead of the side window...... LOL

Emily is a straight A student at school. She just recently received a letter from the school's principal congratulating her on her efforts in all subjects. Further to the letter she was awarded a Certificate Of Excelence.

Dont tell anyone I told you, she now officially has a boyfriend. I haven't met the young boy yet, the big night is this Saturday.

Spooky photo of your lovely daughter's head on the platter! I guess you used something like Photoshop to do that.

Hope she continues to do well at school, even with the distraction of a boyfriend. Well, a girl's gotta have fun too.

Hi Gary ~~ I hope Emily had a great birthday yesterday. Glad se does so well at school. Don't be TOO hard on the boyfriend, although Peter's list is good. Thanks for your comment and yes
both Peter and I like poetry, but I like more inspirational or humorous ones.
Also thanks for the sympathy on the baby
death in our family. Take care, you are doing well. Are you having fun yet ?
cheers, Merle.

Hi Gazza, I've come over from Jen's place to say hello and welcome to blogging, you've made a fine start, except maybe the daughter's head on the platter, shouldn't that have been the new boyfriend's?

Hi Gazza -- Welcome to blogging. I knew Little Jen was starting hers, I must have missed the announcement for you. Looking good.
You have a pretty daughter, she has a pretty horse. Is your daughter one of those Tiger girls?
I can tell your family is spread out. Blogging works good for keeping up with everyone. My family won't blog regularly.

Gimme a break scruff. Some of us have to work for a living.

Cazz, I figured our little sister had made a few phone calls :-)

Jim, Emily is not a fan of the Tigers. She was brainwashed by her mum at an early age to follow The Hawks.
I agree, Blogging is a great way to keep in touch with everybody. Unfortunately I am restricted for time because of work commitments.
